Job Description

Hiring a full time hospital Registration Clerk.  This position will be located in the Emergency Department.  Position is Monday through Friday, overnight (11pm to 7am). 

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs all registration responsibilities for all levels of care
  • Acts and a receptionist at the Emergency Department entrance for patients and visitors to disseminate information as needed
  • Helps coordinate patient transfers including communication between providers, bed control, nurse to nurse, patient’s family, etc.
  • Completes overhead announcements or pages as needed
  • Manages alarm and communication systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent, degree medical secretary/assistant preferred. 

Experience:

  • Must have good computer and communication skills.   Must be friendly and service orientated.
  • General knowledge of general office work, use of computer and other business machines

Applicant must pass background check, drug screen and health assessment including applicable vaccinations prior to hire.  Position open until filled.
