Job Description
Be part of a Hospice of Siouxland care team that focuses on bringing comfort, self-respect and quality of life to people in the final months of life. LPN will provide continuous care to hospice patients and supplement nursing care needs of the patients/families as specified in plan of care. LPN serves as an advocate for patients/families and provides education. Uses clinical judgement to implement appropriate interventions. Follows mission of Hospice of Siouxland which is to provide high quality, compassionate care at the end of life. There are rotating full-time day shifts and night shifts. Must possess strong communication skills. Current LPN license and one year professional nursing experience strongly preferred (additional experience in hospice, community health nursing or oncology beneficial). CPR certification also required.
