Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY Working in a team environment, the Licensed Account Executive position provides internal oversight and directed management of all client accounts assigned by the Agency Principal and/or the Sales Manager on behalf of Sales Executives. The Licensed Account Executive applies a significant body of knowledge to the handling of client services, incoming new business, renewal business and the ongoing servicing of assigned clients in an effort to develop a \"best of practice\" client experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Account Servicing 70%
- Demonstrate the ability to explain proper policy placement/program needs and suggest additions or changes to the program for the benefit of the client.
- Grow assigned clients' book of business and meet the mandated retention goals set forth by management.
- Understand the development of premium and establish payment methods that meet the needs of clients.
- Respond to all client inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Confer with clients to obtain and provide information to the carrier of record when claims are tendered if requested.
- Aid in claims disputes as requested / directed by the insured.
- Provide direct support to the Sales Executive and act as a resource to others.
- Complete accurate, daily data entry into the insurance's core management system.
- Answer phone calls and handle inquiries or forward to appropriate servicing party
- Provide fill in or coverage for other lines of insurance as needed.
New Business 15%
- Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary submissions, applications, underwriting data and that the completion of appropriate forms are correct.
- Greet on-site or walk-in clients that seek interest in new business products.
- Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance policies.
Renewals 10%
- Conducts reviews to assess client risk and responds to changes in client exposure.
Other 5%
- Maintain CEC requirements directed by management to continually be successful in this position.
- Attend meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing a stronger and more effective delivery of our client experience.
- Represent the bank and insurance agency in a positive manner at community/organizational activities.
- Responsible for knowing and following all mandated bank and agency policies, procedures and practices.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Ability to learn and use the Bank's PC hardware and software; in addition to being proficient in Microsoft Office products, including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.

- Interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, entity documents, security agreements, real estate mortgages, and other commercial loan documents.
- Demonstrate strong oral/communication, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management and supervisors.
- Ability to effectively manage one's time to complete work according to established deadlines. The ability to prioritize tasks and use time efficiently.
- Ability to adjust quickly to different work situations; remain composed under pressure and in stressful situations.
- Regard for important details to assure accuracy in every transaction performed, detect errors, and follow through on corrections and detail.
- Responsible for knowing and following Bank Security Act (BSA) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Must have flexibility to deal with changing work hours.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years' experience in similar job duties
- TAM or EPIC Agency Management System competency preferred
- Current Property/Casualty Licensee or the ability to obtain within 90 days
- Current Life/Health Licensee or the ability to obtain within 90 days
