Gerkin Windows and Doors is a company located in South Sioux City, Nebraska. We manufacture high performance vinyl and aluminum windows as well as storm doors. We take pride in the fact that we are listed as a Top 100 window company as shown by Window and Door Magazine.
We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician. This position will require operating a company vehicle and traveling to locations to inspect product issues, complete repairs as needed, and replace product when warranted.
Having a construction/building background and knowledge of window and door operations is a plus. Being able to use a variety of hand and power tools to perform high quality repairs is required. Operating in a safe and professional manner while providing excellent customer service is a must.
This position requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. With the travel, staying out overnight 4 nights during the week is a requirement. This position has many physical demands such as being able to stand, walk, bend, reach, crawl, climb a ladder, and lift up to 60 pounds.
